The Black Rock Neighborhood Revitalization Zone (BRNRZ) is committed to advocating for our community in matters concerning education, environmental protection, land use, zoning, historic preservation, cultural affairs and community outreach. The BRNRZ is governed by a dedicated body of volunteers, each person bringing a commitment to improving those aspects of our community (and City) that previously experienced years of neglect, when so many businesses left Bridgeport for other shores. Reversing the effects of that diaspora, when so many towns and cities across the northeast and Midwest witnessed similar migrations, is part and parcel of the BRNRZ’s mission.
